Contract Tools Won’t Find Content

  • What happens: When Contract Tools analyzes your document, it fails to find provisions, defined terms, and other content, even though these items appear in your document.

  • What this means: It’s possible that Contract Tools is analyzing only a part of your document; see Analyzing Part of a Document to learn more. It’s also possible that your document is laid out using tables. By default, Contract Tools doesn’t analyze content within tables.

  • What you should do: Make Contract Tools analyze your entire document, or choose the part of your document that you want Contract Tools to analyze; see Analyzing Part of a Document to learn how. If your document is laid out using tables, make Contract Tools analyze content within tables; see Analyzing Tables to learn how.
