Quitting Word Takes a Long Time When Using Contract Tools on a Computer with a Touchscreen or Stylus
What happens: When you quit Word (by closing the last open document, for example) while using Contract Tools on a computer with a touchscreen or a stylus, Word temporarily becomes unresponsive (freezes, hangs).
What this means: Most likely, this behavior is attributable to an issue with some versions of Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (see Prerequisites for Installing Contract Tools to learn about other Contract Tools prerequisites).
