Finding Cross-References
When analyzing a document, Contract Tools finds text that looks like cross-references, and then finds the items to which these cross-references refer based on the text of the cross-references, provision numbers (see Working with Provisions to learn more), and inline list markers like (a) (b) (c) and (i) (ii) (iii) (see Working with Inline Lists and Proviso Lists to learn more). Contract Tools ignores cross-references to other documents, like statutes and ancillaries (see Working with Ancillaries to learn more).
To learn about ways to work with cross-references, see Managing Cross-References. To learn how to convert text in cross-references to fields, see Converting Text in Cross-References to Fields. To learn more about how Contract Tools analyzes documents, see Analyzing Documents.
